Hudson Job Search is a non-profit, volunteer, organization that provides free, comprehensive, job placement assistance to those that live or worship in Hudson, Ohio, as well as an abbreviated version of services to all unemployed individuals who live in Northeast Ohio.
The organization began in 1982 and has assisted more than 4,500 job seekers. Services provided to job seekers are free and include assistance with resumes, networking, social media, personal marketing, virtual and live interviewing, and job offer negotiations. Hudson Job Search is unique among job placement groups in that it assigns each job seeker with their own Hudson Job Search Advisor to assist and coach the job seeker until they gain employment.

Who does Hudson Job Search work with? The organization can work with anyone looking for a job. Our typical client is someone that has not looked for a job in 10 to 20 years. Whether they took time off their career to raise children, or have been laid off after many years of a successful career in their field, most Hudson Job Search clients are overwhelmed with the changes in the job search landscape since the last time they did a job search. Our Advisors not only provide the one-on-coaching to keep clients engaged, positive and productive, they help with many technical aspects of the job search process.

Our Advisors are a volunteer army. They are made up of local professionals that assist job seekers in developing their resume, cover letter, and marketing plan. They also conduct practice interviews with job seekers to prepare for the real ones. Additionally, when working with an Advisor, job seekers will receive job leads (some only available to us) as we receive them. And our Advisors offer general encouragement and advice throughout the job search process.
Please fill out our contact form. Once submitted, Mike or Cindy will contact you within one to three business days. Following that conversation, an Advisor will be assigned to you and reach out to set up the first Zoom or in-person meeting. We find that to successfully navigate through our free job seeker resources and gain the right job, at the right salary, it is important to keep a continuous flow of communications with your Hudson Job Search Advisor. We look forward to working with you.
