You’ve created the perfect resume. You’ve applied online to countless companies. Why are you not getting any interviews? As more and more employers are using
applicant tracking systems (ATS) to screen resumes, many of your job application submissions, and that “perfect resume” is not reaching human eyes.
Are the words in your resume in alignment with the keywords in the job description? A
study by Harvard Business Review revealed that 88 percent of recruiters felt that qualified candidates were ignored by an ATS because they “did not match the exact criteria established by the job description.”
In this session you’ll learn how to optimize your resume for the ATS and what top mistakes to avoid when filling out the initial application submission form on the employers website. For example, learn how most ATS settings will automatically kick out your application if it isn’t completed within a time limit, fields are left blank or common abbreviations, like Dr., St., Ave., and Blvd., could be scanned as misspellings.
