Job seekers have two major challenges in interviewing today.

Virtual Interviews

The first challenge is due to the “new normal” for job seekers… the virtual interview. Candidates who are well prepared for live interviews are often unaware of how to interview in a virtual setting. This can result in a disastrous interview despite the candidate’s performance otherwise.

Interview Expectations

Another challenge is that many of today’s job seeker’s lack awareness of what employers want from a candidate during the interview.

These common interview fails will be addressed in this interactive presentation. Job seekers will leave with practical and useful takeaways on how to interview for their next position confidently and effectively whether virtual or live.

This session will be conducted by Michael Polovick, current President of Hudson Job Search. He is a retired HR executive with more than 30 years of experience interviewing candidates. He has interviewed more people in one day than most job seekers interview during their entire career. Polovick will boil his interview experiences down to a 90 minute presentation. He will share insights on how candidates can enhance their virtual interviews and provide specific approaches on how to avoid the most common interview mistakes.
