Looking for a job can feel overwhelming - and often, isolating. That’s exactly why Hudson Job Search exists.
Hudson Job Search (HJS) is a free, volunteer-led job search group designed to help job seekers stay motivated, build confidence, and connect with others who understand what they’re going through. Whether you’re just starting your search, changing careers, or re-entering the workforce, our Monday night meetings provide the structure and support many job seekers are missing. Our job search group meetings are held in-person and virtually on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month.
Hudson Job Search began in 1982 as a small church-based job search group helping local Hudson, OH residents find employment. Over the years HJS has grown into a trusted nonprofit organization that now supports job seekers not just in Northeast Ohio, but across the country.
Even as we’ve grown, our mission has stayed the same:
HJS continues to operate entirely through local support and volunteer efforts, staying true to its roots while expanding its reach.
Our job search group meetings are designed to give you more than just information - they give you momentum. When you attend, you’ll gain:
Most importantly, you’ll be reminded that you’re not alone in this process.
There’s no cost to attend, no membership required, and no expectation other than registering, showing up and being open to learning and connecting.
Whether you attend once or make it part of your routine, Hudson Job Search is here to support you. You may also want to check out other job search groups in the area, so make sure to visit our Northeast Ohio Job Group Calendar page.
